No-dig technologies allow to rehabilitate/repair underground pipelines quickly and cheaply, without excavating open trenches. This option is called: no-dig rehabilitation.
Thanks to no-dig rehabilitation technologies it is now possible to intervene in historical centres, industrial plants or along roads with heavy traffic without the need to disrupt the surface or the activities carried out there.
There also exist technologies for rehabilitating pipelines inside buildings; these are the so called no-des technologies (non-destructive rehabilitation).
In order to rehabilitate gravity or pressure pipes, with diameters ranging from 25 to 2,500 mm (1 to 98 inches), several no-dig technologies are available today:
- CIPP & CIPL – Cured In Place Pipe & Cured In Place Lining
- CFL – Close-Fit Lining
- LFL – Loose-Fit Lining
- CML – Cement Mortar Lining
